NOTARIAL CERTIFICATION OF TRANSLATIONS

A public notary notarizes the translation of the document, in the course of this he/she confirms the identity of the translator, his qualification which is confirmed by the diploma on occupational education and on the ground of this the translator’s signature is confirmed. Notarial certification confirms the compliance of the translation with the original.

PROCEDURE OF NOTARIAL CERTIFICATION:

1. The translation is filed to the original document or to its copy.
2. The translator signs the last page of the translation in the presence of the public notary.
3. The public notary with his/her seal and signature witnesses the authenticity of the translator’s signature and states the registration number of the record in the notarial register.
If you also need to notarize not only the translator’s signature but also the photocopy of the document, then the stamp “copy” or “photocopy” is made on the copy of the document filed to the translation. It is an official certification of conformity of the copy with the original.
